Walter Mitchell Medley

Polkton - MR WALTER MITCHELL MEDLEY ENTERED THIS ETERNAL REST ON January 13, 2021, at the age of 79. He was born to the late Walter Lee Medley and Doreatha Brewer Medley on November 6, 1941. He was married to the late Glenda Chambers Medley from this union came Stephanie, Sidney and Brian. Also, 7 bonus children, Larry, Michael, Mitchell, Lee Arthur, Dextra, Trunellia, Cynthia. Also, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A very special friend Fillar Little. A great friend Margaret Sturdivant and family. He was a faithful member at Saron Missionary Baptist Church. He was a member of the 270 Masonic Lodge in Marshville NC. He worked at Cuddy foods and retired from Tyson Foods and later started working at Walmart for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter Lee Medley and Doretha Brewer Medley his sister Lauretta Melton and his brother Tony Medley. Walter leaves to cherish his memories to his sister Ronie Ann Kelly, his nieces and nephews, family members, and friends. The service to celebrate his life with be 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 20, 2021, by the graveside at Saron Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Polkton with Pastor Eddie Lee, the eulogist. Family and friends may pay their respects and sign a register on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Leavitt Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
