Wesley Gene Jacobs

Wadesboro - Mr. Wesley Gene Jacobs, 56, died Friday, December 18, 2020, in Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte with his mother and niece by his bedside. There will be a service at 11:00 am by the graveside in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in McFarlan on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery. Wesley was born November 5, 1964, in Anson County, NC, and was a son of Barbara Morton Jacobs Trantham and the late Bennie Wesley "Bo" Jacobs. He was a 1983 graduate of Bowman Senior High School and was a truck driver for Jim Hill Sand and Gravel in Wadesboro for 28 years. Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Barbara Trantham (Billy) of Waynesville; his brothers and sister, Dean "Boomer" Jacobs (Susan) of Supply, David "Jake" Jacobs (Melinda) of Albemarle and Wanda Jacobs of Rockingham; his nieces and nephews including, Eric Hildreth and wife, Kayla who was more like a son to him and their children, Corey "Buddy Roe", Chloe "Sally", and Connor "Pittbull"; his cousin, Rodney Morton (Sharon) of Lilesville who was more like a brother to him and his best friend, Dr. Gary Henry of Marshville.
