Whitney Leigh Luther

WADESBORO - On Saturday, September 6, 2025, Miss Whitney Leigh Luther, 36, passed away due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

There will be a memorial service at 6:00 PM, Thursday, September 11, 2025 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Mr. Ken Caulder officiating. 

The family will greet friends following the service.

Interment will be at a later date in Anson Memorial Park.

Whitney was born October 22, 1988 in Anson County, NC and was a daughter of Janet Floyd Luther and the late William Ranson Luther. She was a graduate of Anson High School and had attended South Piedmont Community College.

Those who are left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cheyenne Luther, whom she adored; her mother, Jan Luther (Reggie Cassidy) of Chesterfield, SC; her sister, Mandy Luther of Wadesboro; her niece, Emma Lee of Wadesboro, whom she shared a special relationship with ; her beloved dog, Willow; and her cousins and their families.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Leavitt Funeral Home, P.O. Box 274, Wadesboro, NC 28170 to assist with funeral expenses.
