William "Billy" John Chavis

LILESVILLE – Mr. William “Billy” John Chavis, 30, died tragically on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. There will be a viewing from 2:00pm until 4:30pm Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Leavitt Funeral Home with a service following at 4:30pm. Billy was born April 1, 1981 in Bennettsville, SC and was the son of Andrew Chavis and Janet Gomez Corr. He was a graduate of Deer Park High School in Deer Park, NY and was employed with US Cold Storage in Marshville. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Janet and Michael Corr and his father, Andrew Chavis and his children, Nicholas Bourne and Bradlee Chavis.
