William Robert Gaddy, Jr

Morven - Mr. William Robert Gaddy Jr., 87, died Friday, January 13, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Monday in Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Larry King officiating. Interment will follow in the Morven Cemetery. The family will greet friends prior to services beginning at 2:00PM. Mr. Gaddy was born in Chesterfield County, SC on August 27, 1924, a son of the late Mr. W.R. and Annie Bell Johnson Gaddy Sr. He was a retired farmer and was married to the late Clara Louise Wilson Gaddy. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Summerville, and two sisters, Inez Dawkins and Flora Bell Johnson. Survivors include two children, W.R. Gaddy III (Donna) of Morven, Margaret Ann Copley (Buddy) of Mooresville; son-in-law, Donald K. Summerville of Morven; and grandson, Derek Schaun Gaddy (Denise) of Cheraw, SC.
