William Charles Jones, Jr.

CHESTERFIELD, SC - On Friday, January 16, 2026, Mr. William Charles Jones, Jr., 66, passed away peacefully at his home.

He was born December 3, 1959 in Norfolk, VA and was a son of the late William Charles Jones and the late Connie Faye Parks Jones Terry.

Those who are left to cherish his memory are his children, Michael Jones and Jamie Gustafson; his brother and sisters, Rick Jones (Wendy), Sara Gulledge (Bobo), and Deborah Greene (Randy) all of Wadesboro, Wanda McQueen (Jesse) and Desiree Smith both of Rockingham; his nieces and nephews and his aunts and uncles, Bobbie Jones of Rockingham, Doris Ellis of Hamlet, Polly Becker of Finksburg, MD, Susie Curtiss and Gay Van Brero (Erik) both of Wadesboro, and Clayton Jones (Carolyn) of Kingston.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roland Hampton Jones, Sr. and Julia Mae Tarlton Jones and his maternal grandparents, Elmer Smith Parks and Minnie Lee Evans Parks.
