Leavitt Funeral Home is sharing this obituary as a courtesy to the Marsh Family. Locust - Mr. William David Marsh, 66, went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2019. A celebration of his life will be 3:00pm Thursday, September 19, 2019 Bethany Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Marsh officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the church. David was born August13, 1953 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Wade Marsh and Agnes Harris Marsh. Surviving are his children, Trish (James) Dakins of China Grove and Erica (Matt) Chadwick of Myrtle Beach, SC; his grandchildren, Jessica Dakins, Tyler Dakins, Austin Dakins all of China Grove, Jackson Chadwick and Bradley Chadwick both of Myrtle Beach, SC; his sister, Delores Marsh (Jerry) Burroughs of Wadesboro, his brothers, Gene (Becky) of Chesterfield, SC and Rev. Ricky Marsh of Lilesville; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Carol Marsh Boyer the mother of his children. Davids main hobby was fishing and enjoying time with his grandkids. He worked in textiles all of his life and prior to his retirement he worked at Star America in Concord.
